Greg n Sue enjoyed their 'First Time' Saturday jaunt with their new friends. The promised gentle ride out with Steptoe and about 37 other unsuspecting chaps and Chapess's ended up in Sailsbury Plain's Warfare & Tank Proving ground. True, the grass was green and butterflies were all around, the sun was shinning and the chit chat was easy, UNTIL Uncle Steptoe took us into the woods. Well I slid off my bike, landing on my bum within seconds but Sue was their to kiss it better, then that Steptoe Man took us over to the craters in the road, (no doubt made by big bombs), and we were told to 'stand up' and ride as if we were standing at attention in the Army, but the best bit was playing in the water. I didn't realise you were supposed to stay on your bike, so off I came again. SPLASH. We just want to say THANK YOU very much to EVERYONE for making the Off Road Ride for Beginners our best ever days riding. Special thanks to Steptoe, Steve and Tim.
