How about something like this? If Harley made adventure bikes. (Actually, if Harley made adventure bikes they would probably look nothing like that. They'd probably still be covered in chrome and tat and the jin-u-ine HD dust-in-a-can would be the worlds most expensive dirt– hey ho).

I must admit I started quite liking the idea of one about a year ago. Only models I really like are the older (I think) classic Glide types (sort of thing Steppers and Paul have) and definately as little chrome as possible.
Get a 1340 carb EVO......simple and made of iron and steel...steppers is an Electra glide sport and Pauls is a road king... ( these are basically glides with no fairing....)
