Some pics

These are the midsize panniers (38 litres from memory) and fitted easily.

The panniers are 910mm overall which compares with the hand guards at 1000mm.

The frame is very robust in s/s and needed no bending or heaving to fit.

Very nice. Lets have some pics without the panniers fitted, so we can see what the frames look like.:thumb The Touratech ones look terrible IMO.:barf:P

Holan used to made panniers for Touratech for 7 years but have been selling them themselves now since 2008. The build quality is excellent and out of all the ones I looked at I thought they looked the best.

You can tell they have been well made as the s/steel racks fitted perfectly and they have reach passenger footpegs, bolts by BMW pannier mounts and the brace at the back behind the number plate. No pulling, pushing or strain. Just offered up and bolted on.

The pivoted s/steel lid locks seem to be laser cut. Paint is unblemished. Only issue was some silicone could be pulled off....no real problem.

I did not want to buy TT as it carries too many margins for no gain.

How do they compare with the BMW varios regarding weight?????????

Varios seem excessively heavy ..........

Purchased TT Zega Pro for mine.
Used them last week for my 3rd trip away on this bike, excellent panniers and frames IMHO.

I am sorry but they look horrible. Then again a GS was always function or form for many. I have Varios and while they don't look good either and probably piss weak comparing to aluminium panniers I can live with them

Sorry, I am sure they will last the distance and serve you well

Roundcircles,

That looks like a Streetglide in Redhot Sunglow, complete with Sundowner Seat if I am not mistaken....

Pannier Bracket

Went for the Holan panniers myself , well pleased with panniers but the exhaust side rail was a really bad fit , with the top bolts fitted there was no chance of getting the foot rest bolt to fit , I think the bottom arm has been welded 180 degrees out. After a few e-mails with attached photo's they agreed to send me a new one ( still waiting for it though and I am heading of this weekend )
