Remus Exhaust mods.
At the risk of giving all those wise old cynics a bloody good laugh I have to say after fitting the 'y' and titanium pipe and then unplugging the vilainous cat plug thing, the overall improvement is.... slightly noticable.
Slightly smoother pulling from low revs and noisier but any real performance gains seem to be inside my head.
I am not calling anyone a liar who says it transforms their bike but for me....barely noticable.
Even the exhaust note sounds like it has a hole in it rather than the deep sexy roar I was expecting.

sorry folks
:O(

Are you talking about the Lambda Sensor when you mention the Cat plug thing ??:(

If so, you'd be better off putting it back, things may go pear shaped otherwise

Did you get the road silencer or the race silencer ??
if you got the road one - i'd agree - can't be much better and a little more noise.
The race one is straight through and will be a LOT noisier - but it lets the motor build revs quicker by being less restrictive. Gives the impression of more power but is actually a torque increaser.

It transformed my bike - and its not THAT loud.

1100 - not 1150

I think he means the cat code plug (I hope he means the cat code plug!!).

Now check your TPS voltage - they all seem to be set very low as standard. Aim for about .38 - .39 volts and see if that makes a difference. Did with mine!

don't panic!

Yes I meant the cat code plug. Unpluged it, turned it through 90 degrees anti clockwise then pluged back in (safe place to keep it, no connections made)
I I did put the lambda sensor back in, used silicone on all other joints and have so far no leaks or back firing. Followed the ritual before starting
ie. plug out / fuse 5 out / wait / back in / ign on / twist full throttle / start bike. done
Yes as I said maybe a bit more grunt and a fair bit more volume. I will stay with present set up, early days yet but first impressions are not any significant improvement over stock.
As said before, not calling anyone a liar. Maybe I had a good setup as standard, who knows. Just posting what I found. Nothing more than that.
