Ferries - 50% off P&O North Sea Ferries - Hull to Zeebrugge (50 miles from Calais on other side) or Hull to Rotterdam with AA membership - out of season ie before June and after Sept.
All crossings are daily overnight - board @ 5pm and off at 8.30am on the other side.
Andy and me have paid £444 for 2 cabins - 4 people and 3 bikes - not bad at £111 each person to Zeebrugge next week - more civilised than 600 mile trip to Dover and cheaper.

No Guitarman - still in Blighty today , although I know of a GS'er who has landed safely tonight in Zeebrugge, after 21 hours on board instead of 12 hours.
We sail later in week - although we have swapped to Norsun (sister ship) and a day earlier to make sure we make it , as the ferry co is a 'bit all at sea' (to coin a phrase) with information, at the moment and all sailings are cancelled on the Norsea for next 2 days, while they investigate. Seems like the Norsea is a bit jinxed as it's the 2nd fire in 3 weeks, but I've used it many times in past without a problem - so we'll call it bad luck.
Couldn't happen at a worse week with Assen World Superbikes this w/end and all 4 ferries fully booked with bikers.
