Dublin mostly!
My daughter has had twin boys, 2 weeks ago, 10 weeks early...

They are doing ok, ups and downs which are probably the usual way in such a case.

The reason I am writing is to give praise to the Holles Street ICU where the twins are receiving lots of love and care - it is the only way to describe it. The parents are being given full support too, the whole thing is mighty to behold.

So, my hat is off!! Go Holles St!!

Bin

Congratulations Bin. Please God all will settle down with the babies. My daughter is a 3rd year student nurse doing 13 hour days for no pay . She comes home from the maternity work and is on a constant high.

Wifey used to be a pediatric ICU nurse in Gt Ormond St & Crumlin. Definitely a vocation, not just a job.

Very best of luck to the two young lads :thumb

Congrats Lawrence

Hopefully everything will go ok, the staff in these p.b.u,s are really the best

Two fine lads!

Here are the two fine lads, (Luke and Ollie) born on 1st Oct. at 0.8kg 13 weeks early (not 10 as I said earlier) now >4kgs each. Lots to be thankful for, Holles St. did a great job, Temple St. had to step in with a small operation on Ollie on 24/12 - and of course their Mum and Dad have worked so hard...

Fine looking fellows; mine were also very prem with a few 'issues' but are now 29yo. If not already, tell Mum to join TAMBA, excellent local support groups and a mine of information.

Only just seen this.
The lads look well. :)
Og junior was born in Holles St. - Definitely well looked after there. :thumb2
