Could fly to the western USA and hire a Gold wing for a week for that.

Iceland?

You could always fly and rent a bike from www.bikingviking.is they've just merged with another Icelandic company and offer a more extensive range of tours now.

Not being able to sail from Aberdeen to Shetland with Northlink then Faroe Isles to Iceland with Smyril Line is a real bummer.

We used to be able to do the trip early season in late May for £830 for two return with cabin accomodation.

The journey from Hansholm in Denmark takes too long from here........!
