Hi All

Never crossed here before; has anyone any suggestions on best carriier and knowledge of any deals for motorcycles.

Cheers in anticipation :thumb2

there's a day return deal from Belfast but if you are staying longer it's the usual fare. Irish ferries seems a bit cheaper from Holyhead but Stena have more ships (so more choice).

Browse the Irish Ferries and Stena websites to get an idea of what schedule suits you then give the girls at Nutt Travel a ring on 028 7035 1199.

Consistently the best prices for shipping on the Irish Sea and generally much cheaper that the ferry companies own websites.

That's what most of us do. :) :thumb2

I was on the swift last Fri morning, its a very efficient servise, they help you tie the bike down and the car deck is very clean and tidy.
Dont have the breakfast though ! its £12

+1 for Nutt travel - Rider, pillion and bike on Holyhead - Dun Laoghaire return over 40% cheaper compared with booking direct with Stena!!

stena is cheaper food wise and the wifi is free

came back on irish last night and 12 quid for cottage pie:eek:

good job id brought stuff with me

nutt ftw wont book direct anymore

In the last year I have been using both regularly (in the car). In general I think Irish Ferries are better to travel with, and the Swift is nice as it's small and never a big delay on or off.
Irish Ferries used to have free wifi until recently, prices are silly now though, Stena have the edge on this one, for now.

In the grand scheme of things prices for food on the ferries are going to be silly either way, no point in complaining about it, just the way of the world. Captive audience etc...

Many many thanks chaps; £80 between two of us saved by booking with the Nutt girls - (1 bike/1 person/ return on fast ferry with Irish Ferries = £84) :clap
