Looking to update all of my home security solutions for the bikes, Grinder resistant ground anchor already secured. Looking for opinions from the experience of other ukgser members on what you use/consider the best set ups? Any security is better than none, so appreciate there will be differing views. The simplest solution for one of my bikes is the Pragmassis anti pinch bolt/squire lock. The other bike can't use this as it's a conventional swingarm. Budget is a little tight (so looking at used as well as new options).

Thoughts?

Litelok have just bought out an anti grinder link piece. Great for securing 2 bikes together.
 
I do have a lot of security, however.....
The best alarm i have, after all that expense is the dog.

All bikers need a dog.
 
Layers of security is key, but keeping them out of the garage should be a high priority.

I haven't seen one from Litelok but Hiplok do one. The attraction here is the both rear wheels could be secured by a 1.5m 16mm chain from each bike connected to that link with a heavier chain connecting it to a ground anchor, everything off the floor making it difficult to defeat.

Don't take the same route home, if possible.
Check mirrors for following vehicles, do a few laps if suspicious.
Ride a shit bike.

Easier said than done when you’ve got the local chavs zipping about on they’re Surrons “scoping” their next victim. Only this afternoon i was weeding my drive and a couple of bally’s zipped past luckily I didn’t have the bike out.
 
Luckily, I live somewhere with relatively low bike crime and if washing the bike, return it to the garage fairly soon afterwards so try and minimise exposure to prying eyes. Occasionally I might be in the garage working with the door open and courier drivers come up handing deliveries over. Sounds innocuous enough but a neighbour was in his garden with the gates open a few years ago and a delivery driver walked in and clocked the cement mixer there. It couldn't be seen from the road. That evening it was pinched in the early hours. Most delivery drivers to us are decent blokes (and lassies) and I know some on first name terms but my neighbour's experiences have made me extra careful as loose lips in pubs after work "I was doing a drop to xxxx and saw (insert name of bike or tools) to the wrong sort (intentionally or through being overheard) can result in risk to the owner's property.
 
Also saw something on fb about making a short loop of paracord or similar to go through your keys and loop round the bars to stop the fuckers that pull up next to you at the lights and grab your keys, all getting a bit in the extreme but necessary in the current climate.

Probably a "must" in London these days :bash. A shame that pepper spray isn't legal....
