As above. I'm the only owner from new.
The bike has absolutely everything these bikes need.
Purchased 1st March 2022. First service by Honda plus one before TET trip and another 250'ish miles ago following clutch upgrade.
The bike is in incredible condition but has been used on local lanes and one TET Spain trip (where it performed faultlessly, obvioously.
For a number of reasons which I won't discuss in here I haven't made use of the bike like I ought to have done.
THE GOOD and THE MODIFICASTIONS
K-TECH front and rear suspension. Cost £1,700 but transformed the bike. Only 2000 miles on this upgrade. All stock Honda 300 have super soft bouncy suspension - it's a joke to be honest, but this has been fixed. There are much cheaper suspension 'options' but this is considered the best.
Essential upgrade : Honda CBR300R clutch upgrade - BOOM! Next too the suspension this is essential in my view. I wish I'd had it fitted for my TET trip! The CBR clutch is a direct swap out and just doesn't slip unless you make it slip with the lever. You don't realise how much drive these bikes lose until its fitted! The lever is a tiny bit stiffer thats all, but still all day comfortable and light. The clutch was fitted when I got back from TET and the bike has only covered about 250 miles since being fitted. Consider it brand new. This isn't just a clutch plate replacement but the whole assembly, you can Youtube it. The bike had an oil change at fitting.
I'll include the powered Garmin Zumo security mount and the Garmin Zumo as well, as I've ended up with two of them.
When she was brand new, ALL the linkages, bearings and pivot points were removed and thoroughly greased with Honda grease. They were very dry!! A known issue that I picked up from forums before I had the bike. This was a long and tedious job but it got done
OutBack Motortec side protection bars. You can strap two US5 bags to these.
ProTaper Henry Reed bend handlebar conversion with soft grips and bar risers added. Ram mount too.
Barkbusters - these were fitted to the previous dirt bike I had. The aluminium bars are perfect but the hand guards are well used and can be cheaply replaced if desired.
Extended side stand - essential as the bike leans over to far otherwise.
Side stand foot enlarger.
4 X super bright LED auxiliary lights. Super bright and can be angled to where you want them.
NOCO quality Lithium battery.
Rear luggage plate with two soft grab handles.
Upgraded bash plate.
Tail tidy and flexi plate + full size for MOT.
Renthal o'ring chain and 15T Front sprocket (original sprocket also).
Heavy duty innertubes fitted.
Dunlop D606 rear and Pirelli MT21 up front. Not unused but look at the pics.
The bike does have a few off-roading type marks but take a look at the pics and you can see she's in amazing condition.
She's ready for action and adventure, literally pick her up and off you go.
PRICE: £5000 All this stuff would set you back around £9k and £9.5k if you bought a brand new bike.
