Sold Honda blackbird

Well I tried and after 20 years unfortunately she’s not for me any longer. I first purchased this blackbird in the year 2000, kept her for around 5 years and rode her to Spain, France and Germany. I always regretted selling her and in January of this year she appeared on Facebook marketplace to my astonishment….she was in a bit of a sorry state not being ridden for a number of years, but I set to work and spent what I needed to on her she’s a 1999 injection with 28,250 miles, new tyres , freshly powder coated wheels with new bearings, akrapovic 4-1 with titanium headers, power commander, gilles fully adjustable vario bars, custom seat, new battery, new gold chain and talon gold sprocket, just serviced with oil, filters, plugs and new brake pads, brake and clutch fluid change. MOT until June 2026. 2 keys and Honda handbook, Runs like a dream and I forgot how fast these are
I may consider a PX with a 1150 GS/GSA in any condition, although I’m not looking to spend any money I’ll take more photos if any interest

A thing of beauty.

Had a red 2001 for a couple of years. I had to get rid of it reluctantly I might add due to T4 T5 and S1 in my back being allergic to the riding position

So wish I could still ride one.

Yours is an absolute credit to you and shouldn't hang around long

Hello!

Due to now owning a 2004 GSA r1150 I have an R1150GS that could do with a new home. (two very similar near identical bikes are just a tad indulgent)

Nicknamed Bertha, she took me to women in moto in 2024, and has been my daily commute bike for 2 and a bit seasons. Multiple trips to the lakes etc. Rear shock was serviced when I got her and a slightly stronger spring added.

Recently serviced/MOT'd with oil and plugs, plus new leads, new speedo cable. Valve clearances done. (over 500 spent) Michelin road pilot 6 on the front, (bought last year due to puncture) road pilot 5 on the...

Indeed …… if I was 20 years younger as well and didn’t have arthritis it’s a shame as I purchased it purely for nostalgic and sentimental reasons as I loved it to bits when I owned it 20 years ago ….. but it’s just sitting in the garage not being used
