Hi chaps, realise this isn't a Tosser type question but I know you guys know lots of usefull stuff.
My mate has just bought a Honda CBF1000 ABS and is after some extras for it. Firstly a hugger, does anyone know of any usefull and well priced sites for Honda accesories?

I bought a brand new CBF1000 about three years ago ( along with the mechanic from the HOnda dealer )...both had bent steering from new and the dealer bought them both back off us ( after I threatened legal action ). Bars were about 10 degrees out

A Jazbee say's David Silver Spares are the peeps.. bought some genuine Honda panniers for Mrs. Bobbles CBF1000, about £275. as opposed to about £550 from Honda. Good service and fast delivery :thumb2

:agree

I've bought parts for my CBF1000 (my other bike) from there too. Great service. I have hugger, fender extender, Givi topbox and knuckle deflectors. All very good and useful.

don't know if this helps much (or at all), but:

some peeps say the standard honda hugger is a bit poo, which I think is what I've got on my cbf1000. I've nowt to compare it with, so can't really offer a view. It does have a few stone chips on it (which for example my 1150gs pyramid hugger never showed). The honda item is also quite short, so a (longer) after market item is likely to give more protection I reckon.

cbf1000.com has some 2nd hand kit from time to time, but not a lot of posting going on there......

'Tis a grand machine - does everything with no fuss. I've got a standard honda rack with the smaller (29 litre I think) panniers, which are quite slim and easy to get on and off - you can get tons of stuff in em and it feels like they aren't there. :thumb2

Thanks for all the advice lads, i've sent it to me mate.....

If you have any decent CBF links plse let me know, especially forums :thumb
