He'll have enough left over out of his pension for a new T shirt

Yuk.
Went to the farm shop on mine yesterday only to be mobbed by two old men as I came out asking about it :D

Proper CT90 engine nears ever closer to completion :)

As a lad I had Honda C90 field bikes - My Dad told me about tuned exhausts being a measure length from the exhaust valve (I think it was about 44 in for an Austin A40)

With just the down pipe attached I found a piece of straight tube that would slide over it, the with the engine held at a constant high'is revs the pipe was slide along and it was a proper fuckin hell moment to find that at one point the revs rose higher and the exhaust tone change to a more tuneful sound.

The change was noticeable, the sound was epic but the downside was it would now rev to destruction :D

Slowly getting there, looking not too shabby for a piece of 55 year old 'Jap Crap'

Looks smart with it’s original engine Tim, now the electrics…………..:blast

Ps get them bar ends plugged up

Yes electrics next Steve, what a weird charging system!! I'll modernise that side just a little with an up to date rectifier.
The bars are unplugged deliberately to take handguards and muffs :)

Local dealer has one on the floor now and was working me over to buy it (or the $1,800 Honda Navi) last week. The Navi I could resist but I almost did take the Trail 125 because it is so damn cute, fortunately I somehow resisted..... at least for now but I better quit this thread!

Nearly buying a bike because its 'cute' is a new one on me but watch out JB it may just reach past your wallet and touch your heart :D

I know..... really the main reason I'd buy one would be for my friend to ride. She has ridden my XT250 but feels a little uncomfortable on it. I believe a Trail is a little lower, lighter, and the auto clutch might be easier for her. And it could brighten up my living room in Winter.
