The split tube tubeless conversion is quick, very DIY, dead cheap and instantly reversible (so keep carrying that spare tube)

Whilst I'm not looking forward to my first tubed puncture, I think I should be able to handle it as I have a spare tube, compressor and some tyre levers (and very little practical knowledge). I'd actually like to be able to do replace a tube, just to prove I can do it.

I will regret this, but someone made an offer on the CT that I was happy with, so have decided to put the money towards my next bike. A very nice man picked it up today. I've never had a bike so fun to ride and attract so much attention when it stops.

Very short but sweet ownership experience.

Thanks, I'm waiting to see who sells their Kove 450 Rally first on here . The 390 Adventure R KTM is quite appealing, as is the DR4S, and the Kove 450 Rally, and the ktm690 Enduro, and the Husqvarna 701 Enduro...... That kinda thing. I do know I will regret selling the CT125 in a few weeks.

Your interest is in a very different category of motorcycle than the CT125 so moving it on makes perfect sense.

Fitted the YSS rear suspension units yesterday ... straight on, no probs

Front fork inserts upgrade kit next

YSS front fork inserts and upgrade kit fitted today. Rebound damping kit/valve fitted, new springs

Wound out for minimal/zero preload on the fork springs.

Now need a good razz round the lanes to test the suspension .... certainly feels better!

Nowt else required now for the Adventure Cub ..... just another adventure

Went for a ride yesterday, modifications all finished, I think

YSS suspension, new Continental tyres, Yoshi exhaust.
Got an aftermarket prop stand to fit .... the standard one is not very secure. Pivots virtually under the engine and isn't very long, doesn't triangulate very well.

Much more robust ....

I did what's likely the first oil change on mine at 370 miles (it had 262 when I bought it last August). I replaced the drain plug with a magnetic one which is the bike's first and only farkle. I'm still deciding whether I'll keep this little bike. It's cute as it can be and fun to ride locally but it does duplicate another bike.

I’m the same. Wanted a CT since I first saw them. After waiting and waiting ( there was nothing available back then) I saw the Dax and bought one. Same engine, similar size etc, had an original one back in the day. Now there are quite a few CT’s about, so I bought one, and after riding both back to back I preferred the Dax. That’s how it goes.

CT125 delivered from Seven Seas this morning to sit alongside it's bigger cousin. A 2020 JA55 engine import model. It'll see me out when I can't get a leg over the GS.
Note to self: must tidy up garage!
