Toxteth scouser, made good ..now hiding on Wirral
Attempting to move a few of my bikes on. First is this gorgeous CX500 with only 23,600 miles. Actually built by CRT on Isle of Wight. Note stainless spoked wheels on CX hubs. Runs perfect . No m.o.t. or tax required as registered historic ( actually has about a 8 month m.o.t. on her). I have changed oil/filter etc and put new YSS shocks on her. Last owner about 12 years from his private collection. Tosser price £3850 firm (Wirral)

Thanks. has a lithium battery ( so bloody light ! )..I have fitted a charge lead ( green for lithium ) but the battery was still fully charged !! Ignore the Hagon shocks as these are from the last owner and are now new YSS shock. Just pics to show the workmanship that has gone into this bike.

What year is it registered as?

Can I take it the battery is now under the seat?
I know a lithium can be mounted in any direction, just wanted to see how it had been mounted on this lovely looking machine.
I’m very tempted by it, but am down in Surrey, so not able to pop round for a look at it.

It is actually in a specially made box ( looks laser cut ) underneath the rear of the engine ( ringed in yellow with my artistic talent :D ). Also comes with a spare lower seat already painted up.(y)

That’s a very neat position for the battery…. Not exactly easy to access, but looks great imho
