Honda trail vs monkey

I’m interested in taking on a new “mini” project.

I want to buy one of the above and spend a few bob upgrading it for my fat arse, I just fancy something a little different and a bit of fun. Plus my eldest is now 15 and I want to get him some experience.

The plans would be small to medium rural roads around Ireland with very little actual off road.

I know the trail125 is very hard to acquire but outside of that has anyone used both and have you any thoughts on either that’s worth considering

Blade Group have dropped the price of the Monkey 125 down to £3499 then I spotted you are in the Emerald Isle so probably of little or no interest to you

I love my ‘Hunter Cub’ / Trail

Already been to Wales (Dragon Rally) Scotland and the Eifel’s of Germany. Would be an ideal ’bike for Ireland
