I have just been speaking to the boul Jockser. He is at reception at Tallaght Hospital waiting to be assigned to a bed. He has no idea of what time he will be going under the knife or how long the op will take.

Hang on, this is the man who finished a lap of the Cambrian with broken bones !
He'll probably have the op without any anesthetic, tough as nails that lad.
They'll probably screw the plate on, on the outside with a couple of tek-screws
and a cordless drill, Sorted !

As for recovery time, I suppose a lot of it will depend on how cute the nurses are.
