I`ve ordered a set of TKC 80`s for my 1150 GSA , to replace my Anakees as the anakees dont have any grip on wet grass etc . I hope I dont have the same experience I did the last time I put TKC`s on the bike and end up sliding down the road on my a**e :blast.
This time its a long ride in the dry to wear them in good and proper that should help plus adding stabliers for when the roads are damp :thumb2.

What makes you think that things will be any different this time ??

If you`re planning mostly tarmac use ...and damp tarmac at that...why do you want to fit off road biased knobbly type tyres ??

Despite all the TKC lovers`s protestations that will follow, they`ve all commented about 'getting used' to them on tarmac.
If you need to make allowances for them, then they`re not suitable for that application.

I have followed your teaches oh wise one :bow

Ride with the knowledge you have knobblies on and you'll be OK. When you forget and it's wet they will bite.

Suprisingly good in the dry though!!!

Definately better off road than Tourances :clap:clap:clap

Definately worse on road :thumb

Just taken mine off today for a trip to Spain but will put them back on when I get back.

Been out on bike tonight with TKC`s on , intially felt weird espeically when cornering , the grip on tarmac compared to my old anakees was amazing
Off road they were astounding on grass, gravel and dry forest tracks no mud due to lack of rain here in scotland :nenau
