Afternoon all.

Has anyone out there used the Hornig bar risers, i.e. 40mm up and 40mm back variant.Hornig claim that the stock cables do not need to be changed to suit this alteration.I have tried this on my 05 1200GS , but the cables (especially the brake cable) is strained under full steering lock.Maybe I am routing the cable incorrectly ! The cables are attached to the bars with cable ties in normal fashion. However , having removed some of the cable ties the cables arestill under pressure.

Hi there,
I've got risers on my gs.
Ive just rerouted all the cables behind the bars.
To do this all you have to do is pop off the 2 black top fork covers,
undo the fork bolts, drop the forks down a couple of cm,
so that you can feed all the cables from the front of the bars to the back.
This gives you the extra slack that you require.:thumb2:thumb2
