Does anyone have any recommendations for a hotel in Hamburg, Germany ?

Ideally with secure parking, decent restaurant in or nearby as we will be en route to Sweden.

Thanks

My wife and I have stopped at a couple of Hamburg hotels, in the city with private underground parking there is https://www.jufahotels.com/hotel/hamburg/ walking distance to the city attractions and the tram stops very close by if you want to take the tram, outside the city we have also stayed at https://www.hotel-ausspann.de/ lovely hotel in its own grounds, fantastic restaurant, you won't need secure parking at the hotel as it is in its own grounds, you can park a bike right outside reception but in my view unnecessary in Germany.

It's a busy City, so best avoided if you are just looking for an overnight stop. Minimum 3 nights needed to see just a few of the sights.

Last time we visited, we used the Crowne Plaza - OK, but not ideal, as we couldn't get into our first choice, the Le Meridian, which overlooks the Aussenalster.

the Maddison is really near the portugese quarter loads of nice food there... if your a 5star traveller the fairmount is near the posh end of town while the Hotel Atlanic which is priced between them both is between the two if that makes sense...

visit the opera, the fish market and down by the river there's a german sort of jamie oliver resturant run a german bloke who's not called jamie oilver but it's very good... will have a look for the name.

Tim Mälzer the bullerei

or stay out of town in a smaller place

about 90mins further north in Rendsburg is the Peli hof that's nice or convent garten... but it's not as cool as place as Hamburg...

We stopped here... Prize by Radisson, Hamburg St. Pauli on our Northern Germany trip. Underground parking next door for a couple of Euro's.
Bremen was also on route and we stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel with multi story car park.
