Hotels for Liverpool airport

I am flying out from Liverpool airport later in the month for my holiday.

I booked myself into the Holiday Inn Expresss. Does anyone know how far that is from the terminal?

My flight is at 6am so need to get to the terminal at around 4am. Is it a short walk?

Tried to call the hotel but the number on the website is constantly engaged.

You'll need a taxi as its a good walk away (unless of course you are fit and healthy - if you are what are you doing on this site??!!! )

Wonder how far it is from Liverpool Lime Street?

John Lennon Airport is about 5 miles to the south of Lime St. on the road towards Runcorn.

You have 2 choices of travel from Lime St. Either take the direct coach service from outside the station, or take the Underground train to Hunts Cross and switch to the airport shuttle.

It's only a mile or so from the new holiday inn to JLA.

However....at 4am in the morning I'd rather take my chances walking through Iraq than Speke !!!
