Hotels in Troon

Need some advice.
Am thinking of spending a week or so riding around the North of Scotland in early May.
The plan is to get the ferry from Larne to Troon. Stay the night in Troon, and then head North.
Anybody know any reasonably priced, bike friendly hotels in or around Troon?

Tom,
There are plenty of places in and around Troon. Couple of recomendations.
1) Old Loans Inn (Loans) right on the outskirts of Troon.

2) Premier Inn on the outskirts of Kilmarnock.

Kilmarnock is about 6 miles North of Troon.Hotel

3) South Beech Hotel Troon.

You'll get mighty fish & chips in the Pavillion Cafe in Troon Tom a grand wee spot. Waypoint attached.

Thanks for the advice guys.

So the ferry is booked. Second week in May.

I'm also booked into No. 2 Troon Road Guesthouse.
This, in case you didn't know, is Troon's only boutique guesthouse!
No idea what that means, but the owner seems sound - ex biker.
Very bike friendly with secure parking.
£40/ night B & Full Scottish B. Very happy with that.

And will try those fish and chips when I arrive - thanks Aidan.
