Been riding one for last three days in Gran Canaria. Hate to admit it but it’s bloody ace . Rented an F900GSA in Cape Town and it was a dog but the 900 GS is totally different . Seat is hard and quick shifter notchy but that’s the only niggles. All day comfy ( with seat pad) . Low screen is fine as deflects clean air over your head . The motor is sublime and sounds great with OE Akra. Not loud but a nice bark . Gearing is perfect as is fuelling . It feels VERY light to chuck around the tightest twisties imaginable. Handling is very planted on the 21/17 wheels .Great off-road standing on pegs. Can pull away from 0 mph on second in Enduro mode . Tank could be bigger at only 14.5 litres . Only getting 160 miles to empty . But I love it . BMW do make a good GS . Who’d have thought it ! 
Still think they’re too expensive new . But my bro has one with 1000 miles on clock . He was selling it but has just ordered a Touratwat seat and is keeping it for now .
