How can I change my avatar to a GIF?

I'm obviously missing something. I've found some brilliant GIFs but for some reason I can't get them to work as an avatar.

Every time I post the code it comes up as an "Invalid File".

Every time I post the code it comes up as an "Invalid File".

Because a gif is two or more images, the size of the files are a lot bigger than a normal .jpg etc......you've got a max size limit of 110 by 110 pixels or 48.8 KB- I'm guessing the one you're trying to use is bigger than 48.8kb?

Right click on it and select properties- that'll tell you
