I've got a virgin media superhub for internet and wifi but have just bought a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND router with the plan of connecting this to the superhub to improve wifi around the house.

Connected up as per instructions and changed superhub to modem mode but new router isn't working.

What else do I need to do?

How, exactly, have you conncted the VM router to the WR1043ND ?

In what way is the WR1043ND "not working" ?

Looking at the connections you will have 4 yellow Ethernet connections. You can only use the one on the far right while in router mode. No idea why but let's just say been there done that. Other than that so long as your Internet port on the new box is set to dhcp and you have the LAN side set as a dhcp server it should all be good.

Just in - thanks for replies
I'll try the far right port later - I've connected as per instructions. Lights work but no wifi signal coming out of router.

Son using study for exam revision so I'll report back when I can get in there :)

Now sorted :thumb2

Took far right slot and didn't change virgin router to 'modem' and all works now :D
