Real dick title.

The type of title that pissed me off instantly.

I have another one of those hare brained build ideas.

It involves cutting a super scooter (200cc plus) in half and grafting it to a quad bike front end.

If you have to ask, click out and go read something else 😉

The donor has to work mechanically.

Probably a super scooter thats been front ended, under a Transit van or cut in half previously.

How cheaply can one hope to find one for???

Go on……….

Sounds interesting. (y)

❓👀

Posted this elsewhere.

I have another crazy quest in mind.

So looking for a 100cc or bigger quad front half to use wheels, steering etc in a silly build.

Ideally junk, free, super cheap

Message me.

I've got a Peugeot speedfight cheap but it's only 100cc....really low miles but she's a shitter!! 😂😂

Well……

Grizz
I have an Aprilia Leonardo 300 if you fancy it

If you know who it is….. keep it to yourself for now.

Not run in three years blah blah blah.

Price was right.

Yorkshire tea, Custard creams, a dog, the missus and a great host……..

Thanks Pat.

Now I need as complete an adult quad sans motor as cheap as possible.

Mostly need a complete front end.

PM please.

.

I may have an old quad bike in my mums barn (N. Yorkshire.)

I've not seen it for a while, so would have to check with family. It is a 250 if I remember rightly. Old. Batterered. Cheap!

Yes.

Adult sized because it needs some integrity and strength.

Hopefully front brakes are hydraulic as they will need to be.

Dont need an engine, plastics, or rear half, if it is there, bonus.

These 100Cc to 125cc units are ideal at £100 each, running but just not strong enough. Well, potentially.

PS. Logistics may be a kick in the nether region

😮
Or perhaps not....

Will be driving up to Alston with the van in a little over a month so if it rolls and is narrow enough to fit inside....
🍒

Let’s see what comes out of all this.

Thank you @L

Having consulted the brothers, I believe it is a Kawasaki 300KLF Bayou 4x4, so should be strong enough for your needs. I've not seen it for some time, so don't have pics and can't comment on current condition... Makes sense to pass it on...

So let's see if we can get logistics sorted... it's stored in a barn in Swaledale. According to Dr Google, it is 1,860 mm in length, 1,210 mm in width, and 1,105 mm in height, so that should fit in most vans. I could drive up and collect it, but won't do that speculatively, as it is of no use to me in Oxford!

Interested? If so, drop me a PM and we can chat (PM me your number and I'll give you a call - probably easier)
