I've got layer upon layer of waxoyl on a plastic airbox, moisture has got behind the waxoyl making it got a milky colour. Whats the best way to strip the old waxoyl off?

Thanks Beono. I've tried the WD40 but there's years of layers built up. I'll give the brake cleaner a go though. I had thought of warming it up with a hot air gun but I'm worried about melting the plastic.

Get washing up bowl.
Put 3 squirts of Fairy liquid in.
Fill 2/3rds with water as hot as you can bear:eek:
put placcy bits in and after 3 mins soak scrub lightly with wifes old washing up brush:thumb2
After. put washing up brush in dishwasher, rinse out bowl and return to kitchen sink.
