What exactly is the problem?

They both work fine for me.

Open them up in mapsource, then "file" - "save as" and in the drop down list at the bottom under "save as type" select "gpx" Bottom of the list on mine.

That is not the Mapsource version

Open up MAPSOURCE on the PC / Laptop and then "help" and click on "About Mapsource".

What numbers do you read below "MAPSOURCE" ?

Too old to recognise the file name.

So you can update to the latest version here: http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=209

But first, do a search on 6.14.1 and see if you want to if your computor won't then drive you crazy.

Or search for 6.13.7 and find a copy to download and then you'll still be able to open up your files without it being a pain.
