How do I locate my daughter's iphone?

I have something called mobileme on my iphone which enables me to locate my own iphone if it was lost/stolen.

My daughter wants something on her phone which will let me locate her if needed.

Is there something that she can install which will let me do this?

Go to app store, get find my friend and both download, hey presto instant live updates of locations.

It's excellent, works on email addresses and you can, hide, yourself if needed.

isn't Find My iPhone free for all users now?

ps. if you're using mobile me, you'll need to switch to iCloud before june, when it gets turned off

Register with iCloud https://www.icloud.com/ and there's a "Find my iPhone" option. The iPhone needs to be on recent software. It works very well: you can send messages, get it to make a loud beep if you can't find it or wipe the phone if stolen etc.
