Sammy Wilson speaks out for the people and says that we should use local folks in a recession!

My View is he's right, we should! I know he should tax his bikes but we've all been guilty of that

Local wages/money = increase in local expenditure I mean that woman Delores Kelly, Fer Feck Sake what planet is that daft cow on? Why is she making a statement "She said his comments had sent our "a poor message" to foreign nationals." when has she a job representing her constituents ????????

Political correctness gone worng ? Or has her Husband/partner ( I know nothing about her or am I interested in politics) got a business that makes more money when he uses foriegn nationals for a workforce!

What a fecking imbecile!

Using immigrant workers means a fair amount of their wages goes back home the only ones that win financially are the house for rent merchants

Maybe Att is right time to abandon ship to the numpties in charge! They'll probably not know till they shout for their morning cup of tea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the issue is...

that what he has said is illegal, and rightly so. If someone's right for the job, then it's on their merits. Their nationality has nothing to do with it.

So not only has Sammy been recently been caught breaking the law, but now he's suggesting that others do it too.

He's asking employers to expose themselves. just like he.... you can see where I'm going with this bit.....

Okay Guys(gals) the subtleties of an internet forum stretch the meaning of what I was saying, And lets face it words are not really my thing!

Okay So my meaning wa:-s Those that are "Migrant" workers come and take jobs and send their money home are not integrating into our society and adding to the community.

Those that come and open Indian ~ chinese restaurants and shops etc etc give a service to the community for which I understand most are handsomely rewarded judging by the Mercs and stuff outside them and yes I know the hours are long but thats their call!

BUt what personally I take from Sammy Wilsons' comments are:- if there's a job as a farm labourer why give it to a polish national EXCEPT that he's cheaper to pay than the local feller!

Everyone has a right to work, but get real guys( and gals) the more "Migrant" (not intending to reside on a permanent basis) workers there are the less jobs for locals the more strain on our social security and health services

So does that explain my thoughts better than my first efforts

Just so Ya's know I have no religious or political affiliations and am a totally live and let live sorta guy. But that lady's comment annoyed one somewhat!

I remember a few years back having to leave our little
green isle of love and laughter, to find a job in London
and then on to the good old USA, and you really have
got me thinking maybe i was wrong to send a few bob
back to me aul ma to keep her in spuds...
