I'm worried that the answer to this question might simply be, "You can't"! Still, I have to ask
...
I've trudged through the manual several times, but nowhere can I find the part where it tells me which buttons to press to convert my (UK spec) bike's display to km/h for riding abroad
. Given that the whole idea of these 'adventure' bikes is that their British owners actually get off 'The Island' once in a while, why is it so difficult to swap the units
? Even my old Suzuki V Strom could switch the digital speedo to km/h at the press of a couple of buttons - what's BMW's excuse!?
Also, please don't feel the need to tell me that a (£600 BMW) sat nav can use both types of unit, as I know that already
. For times when I'm heading to familiar destinations abroad, I'd be happy not to take the sat nav.
So, can the (2015) GS display mph and km/h on its dash, or not
?
Thanks for the input!
