how do you delete an item from..

the Desktop "background" list on the Display Properties menu.

No problem replacing it etc, just can't work out how to remove it from the list. It's a spy or whatever from t'internet and appeared from nowhere replacing mine.

Do you go into "remove Programmes" or something and then what??

It should be a .JPG file (or maybe a .BMP) in C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper - simply delete the file and it should disappear from the list the next time you go into Properties etc
