AMS tracker, DNA marking, large padlock and chain through the forks and around the drawbar of our caravan, LARGE German Shepherd,
two 12 bore side by sides.
Sadly none of its worth anything unless im there to stop them cutting the locks, let the dog out, unlock the gun cabinets, be with in a distance
that allows me to do something about the tracker going off and im happy to get some DNA tagged bits back!
A year or so ago a mate of mine asked me if I could remove a padlock and chain from his GSXR750 as he had lost the key.
I took and angle grinder with a cutting disk to his house. It took me less than 30 seconds to cut through an Oxford chain
Thats 30 seconds with plugging in the grinder!
A few years ago I came down to breakfast one morning to be confronted with a shall we say patron of the road helping him self to my stuff
from round the side of the house. He was happily loading my bits into his van, when I asked him what he was doing I was informed he was
taking my scrap. After a friendly chat he fell rather heavily on his arse, after getting up he did see the error of his ways and removed my stuff
from his van.
As he headed off wishing me a fond farewell, I thought bugger this and called the police. In the defence of the police they did catch him.
The poor fellow had a go at telling the plod I had hit him, I was telephoned by the plod to be informed of this and that they wouldnt be taking
any action against me!
The best way to keep yoour bike safe is to not make it visible when its parked, just how you do that when your out for fish n chips with your mates
I dont know.
And the point of my ramblings is, it dont matter what you do if some one wants your belongings they will find a way to take them from you.
All you can do is make it as hard as possible for them to do it.
