How do you mount yours!!!!

Surprising to read so many stand on the peg to get on?

Left foot on the ground, swing right leg over top of bike. Sit down.

Might help I'm 6ft5 :D

I am only 5'10 and have no problem getting my leg over or through - could try leap frogging over the top box for a change.

The gs grab handles do make it high and wide where you kick your boot over,
Out of interest has there been any side stand failures, excluding roll offs,

I really can't believe there is 3 pages of how to get on a bike:blast

I have just stumbled on this thread and cannot fekkin believe that I have thought exactly the same as you Mr Burns.

(I might add though that sometimes, when in a rush, I mount my GS like the cowboys used to....a run up and box fault from behind Piss cake for me as I'm 6 three and that's how I used to catch and ride the Welsh Mountain ponies up on the moors. )

:D

Getting off Centre Stand if Short of Leg: 1. Make sure it (bike) is pointing where you want to go. 1a. Re-check this point... 2. Climb on (how you like) 3. Start bike. 4 Lean right forward and engage first. 5 Still leaning right forward (important this) drop clutch and rev to apprx 3000.. 6. Lean back. Firmly and positively and whilst gripping handle bars firmly. 7 She's off the centre stand.

You dirty fuckin perv.

Im a similar height to you Tim, so I shouldn't have any issued at all mounting my GSA. But the seer size of my massive cock and balls does sometimes make swinging my leg over a little difficult.

I'm surprised that there isn't a section "Wie man ein und aus Ihrem Motorrad zu bekommen" in the hand book, maybe there are classes you can go to in a local village hall.
