How do you pick up a dropped GS

Just watched that video again ...... now there's something that should be demonstrated at the NEC. I've seen it demonstrated once at a show... a tiny girl in very short miniskirt lifting a big Harley...only problem was seeing past the crowds!

They do show it at the Touratech event, and then invite people from the crowd to lift an Adventure. :thumb2

Just my experience, but I try and pick it up as quickly as possible before the cameras start flashing:D

Shep

To distract the audience ask your passanger to take off som clothes. If you are alone, then you know what to do.

:angel Liv.

If you drop it on it`s right hand side, make sure you put the side stand out before you lift otherwise it may go straight over...:augie

And if you drop it on it`s left hand side, make sure you attach a sidecar to it before you lift otherwise it may go straight over. :P

:) Liv.

Surely with a sidecar you just attach the winch (which you're carrying) to the chair wheel and crank it back down again? :augie

First time I've seen vids of the course - that looks fun :thumb2

Sorry - OT

There's only ever been these two made as BmVV are very funny about filming on the site and anyone with a camera being able to wander about as I found out. I shot one the other was done by an ex-BBC bloke not too sure how I ended up with a copy:augie

Needless to say the BBC bloke got the weather right and I had it rain cats and dogs...story of my life.
