Just placed a deposit on a 1200 and was wondering now that I don't have the bike in front of me if there are any easy pointers to tell if it has OBC.

Not too bothered either way, it certainly wouldn't have been a deal braker, and was not advertised as having it, but it would be a nice bonus if it did.

Only clue is that there is ans "info" button on the LHS switch cluster

Cheers

"info" suggests it does have OBC :thumb2

Thanks for the pop quiz whilst drinking my first coffee of the day.....OBC??
Got it at the end of your post when you mentioned "info".
God, I hate three letter acronyms :censor: even BMW have missed this one I think......

GS comes with three pack options - the on-board computer is part of the comfort pack (which is the cheapest) so you'd hope the original owner would have spec'd heated grips etc......

Dynamic Package (Tyre Pressure Control, Integral ABS (Partial) and ASC)
Comfort Package (Heated Grips, On-board Computer with oil level warning light and LED indicators)
Premium Package (Chrome Exhaust Pipe, ESA, Heated Grips, On-board Computer with oil level warning light and LED indicators)

Nope, they all have INFO buttons. My ex ORS bike had the button, but no OBC. Just keep pressing the button next time you see the bike, and there will be lots of displays if it has OBC. If it doesn't, there are only about 2 or 3 displays.:rob

Or you could get the reg, call a BMW dealer, and they will tell them if you ask nicely.:comfort

Doesn't the OBC come with the external air temperature sensor?

If I am correct then look under the beak - on left side of bike just under the front edge of the beak should be a temperature probe?
