How does yer fender extender fit?

Just got back from Bahnstormer after collecting a new fender extender (Avant) and Mudsling kit (same offer as NN) and started fitting it at home. Mudsling fitted perfectly, great design and practical piece of kit but I can't help thinking the front fender extender is a crap bit of design. Alright, I get the point around no requirement to drill holes but is that really a benefit? I fitted one to my old GSA AND IN 9 years of ownership I never had to remove it so not sure if it is really. Anyway the point of all this is that now the front fender extender is fitted there is a gap between the original mudguard and the new extender. It's only small but enough to allow muck sprayed up from the tyre through which kind of defeats the objective...
anyone else experienced this???

That doesn't look right. I've had one (Avant) on three GS's and there was no gap like that.

Thanks for all the feedback, i'm pretty sure it's the right one, the packaging stated it was for 1200GSA all years and although bought from Bahnstormer it had the NN packaging. I'll remove it and have another go at fitting and i'll try to take some better pics. One of the issues I have is the middle clamp that attached to the bottom of the mudguard. The clamp has a square fitting but the end of the mudguard is pointed so it looks like t's only clamped on with millimetres of mudguard available? \\

I'll report back soon...

You need the one for R1200GS LC 2013 on .. it even lines up with the ^ on the mudguard to make a diamond.

The one on the twin cam is flat, so it sounds like they've packaged it incorrectly. Does yours have the V shaped groove at the bottom? If not, it's definitely the wrong one.

pre watercooled have a different front fender so if its pre 2013 what you have its wrong , glad its getting sorted
