How long does it take for Garmin to send out?

Just bought a Zumo 400 from MyNewCheap with the offer of a free Europe CN 2008 NT upgrade on registration. It comes with UK only.

Just registered the unit and I qualify for the upgrade- my order has been placed and should be with me in 4-6 weeks. I bought the unit as I am going to France and Germany 2 weeks on saturday.....

How likely is it that I will receive my disk in time?? Is there another way around this- is it possible to borrow a DVD and ask Garmin for an unlock code for it??

Am desparate- the only reason I upgraded from my SP3 was I couldnt get europe onto it. Anyone any idea??

Give Garmin a ring and explain would be your best bet, they're usually quite good about getting stuff sorted for a genuine deadline.

Someone around your area is sure to have a 2008 version. Borrow it install it and give it back. No problems. Its the unlock code that costs not the Disc.

I got my update disc about a week after I registered my Garmin, great service.

Website qouted 4 - 6 weeks for delivery. I thought the disc would be coming from America, but I think it was sent out from Hampshire

Hopefully it will be the same for you. But to be on the safe side give them a ring and explain your predicament.
