How long waiting a new ADV in UK?

Hi
I have one question for you. If you ask for a new 1200 GSA in a official dealer and pay a reservation fee today, when you pick up the bike??

In Spain It would be more than 3 months. It`s amazing! :spitfire

What`s about in UK or other countries?

ordered mine in November 2005 picked it up May 2006 so 6 months for the first batch

You forgot to count the time you have to wait for the parts .... It will be a 24 months wait by the time everything arrives :D

haha guess what I sold an 05 fireblade to fund the GSA! so i know jap bikes are good but you know what it has a quirky appeal does the GSA!
 
Ordered mine in Mid April got it 1st June including panniers, Its down to the dealer I guess. Been round Wales today on a running in trip n it was great :)
 
If you are quick, :rob Motoraad in Bishopbriggs have just had an extra one delivered, :eek and its sitting in their showroon right now. Has ABS & heated grips and sitting on Tourances, dont know if its got anything else on it, but its on sale. :thumb
 
Ordered mine 5th April, picked it up 23rd May, and it was "spec amendable".

I did phone round every dealer in England though to find what was on offer. Got it from Ocean Plymouth in the end, my nearly-local dealer.

I have to say it's a vast improvement in every department on my May '04 standard 12GS. :bounce1 Collected it the day after my existing warranty had expired, which I think may have been a wise move.

They've got one sitting in the BMW garage in Nice unsold. Same when I bought my ADV here, got it straight away and loads of extras thrown in, as they didn't shift many of them in the Riviera due to the vast majority of the population being wee short-arses :D
