Whilst I've not popped out to the garage to check, unless I'm mistaken my 2006 GS has two 1200GS logos, one one either side of the tank. I know that it's a GS but the branding on the tank's there just to remind me in case I forget and to inform the less enlightened. And from what I can remember of the GSA, it's the same. My vario panniers have their own logos but I figure that they're to make me feel special when I check-in to a hotel.
Having seen Mark Hooton's posting of 18 January for "Triple Black Sump Guard for GSA image for Sgt Bilco", the products featured took the GS logo count from a modest two to seven and placed the extras in the strangest of places.
I know, it's a free(ish) country and we can all do what we like with the things we own, but is it good/right/decent to be blinging the GS/GSA with a mass of logos?
For the record, I say a big no as a mark of respect to the BMW design team that agonised over the positioning of the modest two.
