As someone who purchased a RT with 106,000 on the clock I would say if you are competent with a spanner and am happy to take time to look over the bike and see what ancils need replacing / repairing then there is no problem. If on the other hand would rather get a local dealer / mechanic to sort things out then I would think a little more carefully.
