So the main dealers here in Dublin are always going on about their "rates" now being in line (cheaper) so I decided to see how they are now.
I need a set of heated grips replaced & their price was €358  including cables :nenau
Replace brake fluid in complete abs system (servo) €171.46 :(
I suspect the independent here will be a good bit cheaper if he ever quotes me.

Well, we had this discussion and it depends what your looking for from them. I need a courtesy bike. It's a deal breaker for me. I love the way they can quote it down to the cent!!! I'm interested in what you get quoted by {^~%

A new set of grips (i think they come with wires attached - just need to attach the plug to the end) costs 150 euro ex vat from motorworks or 180 euro vat included (and i might be wrong but do they pay the vat as a business?). 358 seems a lot to remove the old ones and thread the cable through the bars and attach the old plug... I might be wrong. Maybe there is something else to it!

No idea about the grips but changing the brake fluid on a servo system is not hard work. An hour or at most 1.5 hours should be more than enough so I would say the quote is a little high.
