I have a beautifull Nachtschwartze 650 Thumper which could do with a bit of offroad-customizing

Aside the usual suspects like rallye footrests and the lot....i'd rather not have a complete cockpit rebuild but i would like to put al little color on the thing by fitting a MX-style front fender. A little like the Dakar-bikes used in Race to Dakar.

And yes.....i'm thinking of bright orange or maybe some posh green.....hmmmm....white's also an option

Has ony-one tried this before on a 650? I could do with some advice

this is something that crossed my mind, so what i'll be doing is to first remove the original and then ride to the shop and "dry-fit" the fender to see how it looks.

Timolgra, could you specify what make fender you bolted on that 650 of you?

That would be a big help, i cant seem to access profiles for i am not a subscribed member overhere. Dont wanna look like a cheap bastard but i'm not UK-based

Tims fender is the Touratech original. The race to dakar fender is a Acerbis fender rebranded to be Touratech. Jut go to acerbis.it and you will see the whole range.
