There's a set of damaged 12GS panniers on fleabay at the moment. The top bid so far is £310 on top of which the winning punter will have to pay £20 for postage. Grand total of £330 and the auction doesn't end for another five days. It's not rocket science, but you can buy a brand new set, keys coded and all for only £365.

Yes, there is one born every minute. :D

That's people for you.

Some people pay too much for stuff.

Some people shoplift in front of 25 cameras and are surprised when they're nicked.

Some people lie through their teeth about others for no aparent reason and refuse to apologise no matter how many times they're prompted.

Arseholes everywhere.

Is'nt £365 the list price from the dealer before discount, I got mine for just about that minus a measly 10% when I bought my beast.

Where can you get them for £365

ask your dealer...if he says no then tell him most other dealers will do them for that much or even less...I paid 340 for mine - locks coded, etc.

Not Panniers I know but..............

A pair those little black injector covers (used) went on e bay for £16 plus £2.80 postage about a week ago.

I bought a pair brand new from Jefferies for £4.80!

Nice work ......

A friend of mine who is an ex matelot regularly sells a Bosuns Whistle on eBay; the write up alludes to his time spent in the service but does not actually state this was his service issue whistle. They usually sell for about £20-25; he buys them in bulk for a fiver each :nenau

I think this is quite the norm on ebay. I bought the wife a 'four month old' Motorola V3 for a prezzie in February. About a month later, she gets a call saying that her phone is now coming up to a year old and would she like to take another. I then went into the timers and found it had quite an amazing amount of use (if it was only four months old) compared to mine which I have owned for over a year.

At least it says something about V3 reliability. :thumb

Best one at the moment is a side stand protector by TT currently at £12 plus £1 postage and considering you can get them brand new at Nippy's for £9. Too many people don't do their research.

I've been keeping an eye on that one too. The item is actually £8 from NN, but add in £4.99 postage gives a total of £12.99. So the winning bidder is actually paying a penny more than if he bought it from NN.

Will it go higher :nenau

There are bargains to be had too though. I picked up a brand new Savanna II suit including gore tex liners for £210 and one of those silly star trek thermal undersuits for £50. :beerjug:

SOME PEOPLE appear on TV programs, have scummy, overpriced houses in Spain, try to sell the house for £225,000 and no-one wants to know. When given expert advice on smartening the place up, and lowering the price, they grizzle.

SOME WOMEN lie to the Police to protect their murdering, child-killing boyfriends.

SOME PEOPLE still smoke even though they know it's killing them and harming those around them.

SOME PEOPLE cannot understand why so few go to local football matches when the team plays like pants and the tickets are £25 a game.

SOME PEOPLE tail-gate riders even though they know he's already doing 80mph and it's freekin dangerous.

SOME PEOPLE.......
