Apologies if this one has been answered before, but I would like some knowledge on how to change the locks on my originally fitted BM panniers for an 1150GS. Looking inside the cases it appears there's a pop riveted casing all around the back of the area where the lock fits.
Any help much appreciated.:beerjug:

Pannier locks

O.K., but exactly how does that happen? I don't want to force or break them as I intend to sell!

I should add that I've checked the link but not sure whether to 'punch' the recessed tab or just apply gentle pressure since nothing seems to be moving at present.
Cheers.

Read this text carefully in the link and do as it tells you

"First, insert the bag key, lift the handles, and you will see a small cut out in the handle depression pictured here, below the white dot. You will need something small with a flat surface on the end, I used a # 50 Drill, or .07"dia. to depress a spring loaded keeper (show in the next picture) and pull the lock out."

You will be pressing through the small cut with the drill or something small like a paper clip.
You don't need any force.
