Could one of you give a novice step by step instructions on how to fit the Wunderlich oil cooler cover. The suppied instructions are in German and i've no idea where to start,

Cheers

Oil cooler fitting

I am a complete bone head when it comes to working on bikes however......

I fitted a TT one to mine as well as a number of other parts all with German instructions. I assume they are virtually the same, using cable ties between the top and bottom of the guard.

The most awkward bit was working out how to get the beak off. There are two lugs concealed underneath that "hook" onto a support bracket and, though I can't remember exactly how and where, it requires a sharp tug to release them, one side at a time.
You should be able to "feel" where these lugs are once you've released the obvious fixings.

Make sure you do it in the right direction, forwards or backwards(backwards to get it off I think) as opposed to side to side, otherwise you'll break the lugs.

Skippy.

The access to the screws is from the rear of the grill in the vicinity of the instruments. The bits you can see from the front are rivnuts and are designed to be the stationary bit. The size I think is a T27 Torx and it is best if you have the proper tools.

The side panels need to come off - two dzus fasteners on the outside of the tank and one plastick dzus almost next to the fork. Four torx screws, two hold the beak onto the tank area coloured panel, two halfway down the beak in the vicinity of the cooler but access is from the outside. Both the beak and the side panels latch on as well as screwing on.
