How to install Mapsource in my new computer?

Haidihou! Small problem. I update my computer to win 7 and now I have install mapsource. But dont work, becouse I have use my lisence code on my old computer.

So, I have original mapsource DVD and those "yellow" unlock codes.

What should I do?

Do an advanced search here.....use "Fanum" as thread starter and "mapsource" as part of the thread title.

It was a good number of years ago, but I posted a way (legal as well) of installing mapsource from a download (ISTR that you have to edit part of the file, but I don't remember the details)

This is not much of an answer, but I have just bought a new Windows 8.1 desktop and Mapsource went straight in......and I used the 'yellow' unlock codes that came with my Garmin Quest/Mapsource software that I bought in 2006. I have also used the same unlock codes on the laptop that I am writing this on......no problems at all.

Like I said 'not much of an answer' but my point is that I THINK that you may have a problem eleswhere.....
