How to mount Streetpilot (2720) onto a 1200GS

My last bike was a 1200GSA and I had the Garmin mount fitted to a BMW bracket that using a cam bolt clamped to the top screen bar. My new bike is a regular 2007 1200GS and does not have the same top screen bar as the GSA does.

I have the GPS, and the Garmin mount - but how do I attach the Garmin mount to the bike? I would like mount above the clocks - is that possible - do BMW make a part?

Also, how about a power connection - I found this on ebay, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271300125788?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 looks like it'll connect to the GPS but will the plug on the other end fit the bike.

I think I may have found the solution. BMW make a bar part no 607707369, it is meant to be for 2008 onwards but I have found pics of it installed on 2004-2007 bikes. It goes above the clocks and allows BMW part number 71607713903 to clamp to it and then the Navigator mount bolts to that.
