How to remove metal mound that holds headlight/instruments? BMW R 1150 GS

How difficult is it to remove the mount that holds the instruments and the front fairings?
It's broken on my 1150 GS and i have to bring it to a welder.

I've attached a photo of the part I'm talking about.

????
 
Looks like you're referring to the 'fairing bracket'.

I'd say 30-60 mins to get it off depending on your level of mechanical ability.

I removed mine a while back as it was bent. Can't remember what I removed or the order but it was easy to work out as I went along.

Thanks! I will start with the gas tank and the windshield/headlights

It’s a lot easier removing the instrument/beak/headlight bracket than posting a picture.. :D
