After a bit of a hiatus, I'm posting the occasional tech article again.
The current pattern 'high end' BMW switchgear (incorporating the kill switch and starter button on the same rocker) was phased in with the K1300 bikes, around 2011.
Unlike the previous 'high end' switchgear, removing the current stuff isn't intuitive, and it's too easy to damage it if you get the procedures wrong.
